Turbine Blades – Restoration & Leading Edge Protection (LEP)
Leading edge erosion can reduce annual energy production by up to 20%. Belzona 5711 and 1221 restore smooth, hard-wearing blade surfaces, ready for overcoating in as little as 30 minutes. Belzona 5721, a UV-resistant LEP coating, withstands harsh conditions, restoring full service in as little as 4 hours. All systems are cold-curing, suitable for in-situ repairs at temperatures down to 5°C (41°F).
