Erosion and corrosion, including CUI, can cause leaks and loss of containment. Belzona 1212, a surface-tolerant material, can be applied on wet, underwater, and oily substrates for leak sealing. Belzona SuperWrap II restores strength to weakened or holed metallic surfaces, meeting ISO 24817 and ASME PCC-2 standards. Belzona 5851 (HA-Barrier) protects equipment at elevated temperatures, while Belzona 3211 (Lagseal) offers fire resistance and insulation protection.
Pipe supports damaged by corrosion or galvanic effects can be rebuilt using Belzona’s cold-applied composites, avoiding welding and reducing downtime.
Corrosion Protection for Process Vessels
Absorber towers and strippers require linings with chemical, erosion, and temperature resistance. Belzona 1391T high temperature linings perform reliably in aggressive operating conditions, resisting MEA, MDEA, sulfanol, and other agents. Their coatings also withstand explosive decompression, steaming out, bacterial attack, and cure in service for minimal downtime.
Storage Tank and Containment Area Protection
Belzona repairs storage tanks damaged by corrosion, weather, or leaks without hot work. Belzona 1212 enables fast-curing emergency leak sealing, while Belzona 3111 (Flexible Membrane) prevents water ingress at tank bases. Containment areas can be resurfaced with Belzona 4111 (Magma-Quartz) or 4131 (Magma-Screed), and coated with Belzona 4311 (Magma CR1) for chemical resistance against acids, alkalis, and high temperatures.
Heat Exchanger Repairs
